Jessica is the Cornell PRO-LIVESTOCK Small Ruminant Extension Specialist since 2024 with 10+ years of experience with small ruminant production. Prior to her Extension position Jessica was the Cornell Sheep Flock Manager, where she collaborated with multiple staff and faculty developing research projects and course development while managing the 250-head Cornell Sheep Flock. In addition to her management role, she instructed the Practical Large Animal Handling Course, the Sheep Production Management Course, co-lectured the Dairy Sheep Management Course, instructed Advance Lambing Internships and was the instructor for the Meats Course. Jessica graduated with a dual B.S. degree in Animal Science and Biology from the University of Findlay and a MPS degree in Animal Science from Cornell University. Her research and extension interests focus on sustainable sheep production, management, and profitability.
